Moscow State University, one of the oldest insitutions of higher education in Russia, was established in 1755. In 1940 it was named after Academician Mikhail Lomonosov, an outstanding Russian scientist, who suggested to establish a university in Moscow.
The Law School of Moscow State University is Russia’s leading educational and legal research institution. The school merges in its work the classical academic culture and the latest requirements of the job market. It is for a reason that the school’s motto is "Traditions and development".
About 3,000 students and postgrads study at the school.
